Summer thus far

Summer has been really busy. Will is getting ready for his BFA show, I am trying to set up my new 5th grade classroom, Will and I are busy doing adoption papers and interviews, family has been in town, and well life has been a bit crazy. But we have done a lot of really fun things in between all of this craziness.
We have seen TOY STORY 3 twice already! We have been to Snowbird mountain to visit Will's oldest sister Rebecca and her family on their vacation, we have made tons of lemonade from fresh California lemons, we have done a lot of Sunday BBQ's with the Atagi's, Wyatt's, and Henry's - and we have enjoyed many great laughs and super pictures.
Enjoy some of my favorites from the last few weeks:

Also - if you want an official invitation to Will's BFA art show on July 20th in the HFAC at BYU send me your address. Either by email or in the comments section.

2nd Anniversary Bliss

Will and I celebrated our 2 year Anniversary in California. It was exactly was WE wanted to do. We spent time in Riverside with Will's older sister Rebecca and her adorable family, and with Will's amazing parents. We went to Disneyland for 2 days and just honestly had fun. It was perfect.

On the first night we were there we set off MENTOS and DIET COKE. See Video at the bottom for more complete coverage.

Then for the entire trip Will and Ethan worked on the back of his NEW long-board. Ethan wanted FIRE, and basically after that he wanted more FIRE, so Will made Mario throwing FIRE. It was a longer process than Ethan thought it was going to be...so Ethan took a lot of breaks. But on the last night we were there the board was finished and looked so great. And now Will's Samurai Jack Board has a new friend.

(Yup that is Will's boy Scout Shirt - still fits!)

And Grandma filled up the Candy jar multiple times - but this little guy figured out where the stash was before the jar had a chance to get filled up again...

Then do you remember Shrinky Dinks - well they still have not lost their amazing ability to captivate all audiences. They still got their Shrinking Skills - and still take those long 3 minutes to work! The 3-minutes that feel like 3-years.

Will and I also went to Disneyland for two days. We took pictures at our favorite spot again.

Will thank you for two amazing years. I am excited for the many more years we have together. I am excited about this year especially. I love you more and more each day. You make me a better person. I am in awe of your talents, kindness, and ability to make me smile each and every day we are together. Thank you, and I love you.

A Baby for the Strong's

Will and I have had a secret we have been working on for a while now...
We have just put our adoption papers in at LDS family services. We are so excited for this journey. We know that it could be long and stressful but we have prayed and really thought out this process and have decided that being adoptive parents is what we need to do to build our family. We have been trying to start a family for a while now, and with many many months of struggling and trying, adoption is what the Lord has directed us to.

LDS family services is a wonderful way to adopt a child. We are so blessed to have this service with in our reach and can't tell you how happy we are knowing that birth mothers want their children raised in the home of a Latter Day Saint.

This past Wednesday we learned that the best way for adoption to happen is by word of mouth. So we really need your help putting our name out their telling people that we are looking for a birth mother that is in need of a family to raise their child in a loving and caring home.

God Bless and Thank you for all of your love and support.
